POLICIES

Dealers: WE DO NOT SELL RETAIL. We sell only to motorcycle businesses (licensed, established, commercial places of business). We reserve the right to refuse to sell to any account not meeting our requirements.

Terms: All orders will be shipped COD (certified check) unless you have been approved for terms prior to your order. The C.P.A. Charge on UPS shipments is $9.00 per shipment. To apply for terms you must fill out our credit application and allow 2-4 weeks for processing.

Returned checks and refused shipments: All returned checks will result in a $25.00 processing charge. All refusals will be subject to pay all freight incurred by refusal.

Freight: All freight will be customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed upon between Total Performance Motorcycle Parts and customer.

Back orders: All back orders will be automatically shipped when available unless you indicate, “NO BACK ORDERS” on your Purchase Order.

Warranty: Our product is 100% guaranteed of any manufacturer’s defect.

Prices: We reserve the right to increase prices if we receive cost increases. This applies to all orders. If there is a cost increase, Total Performance Motorcycle Products will contact you and provide the information prior to shipping.

Damaged shipments and/or Shortages: Sign only for the number of packages received. Indicate, “DAMAGED” on the bill of laden when you sign for goods. Keep the shipping carton, hold the goods, and first notify the shipping company and then Total Performance Motorcycle Products immediately. Any damages in shipping must be reported within 3 days of receiving goods. All shortages must be reported to Total Performance Motorcycle Products on the date of receipt. Review your invoice and contact us immediately if there is a discrepancy.

Merchandise Returns: Total Performance Motorcycle Products will not accept any returns without an RMA (return material authorization). Contact your representative and request your RMA number. You will need the following information to request an RMA, The part that is incorrect or damaged, a description of the problem and the original invoice and its number. Place RMA number on the top of the box and be sure that your box(s) are returned with a copy of the invoice and there original packaging (i.e. foam cushioning, bubble wrap, etc). All returns will be inspected upon return for determination of credit. If merchandise is determined to be defective by Total Performance Motorcycle Products, we will replace it at no cost to customer. If we determine any damage to be at fault of the builder, installer, customer, we will notify you and we will return merchandise back to you freight collect.

Improper care or misuse: Total Performance Motorcycle Products shall have no obligation hereunder in the event the Goods have been modified by any person or organization, or where the Goods become defective in whole or in part as a result of improper installation, improper maintenance, improper use, abnormal operation or any other misuse or mistreatment of the Goods.

Harley-Davidson® Parts: Harley® and Harley-Davidson® and other model names of Harley motorcycles are used as a reference only. Some H-D® part numbers are also used as a reference only. We are not an authorized Harley® dealer and in no way do we have, or intend to imply any kind of business relationship with Harley-Davidson Motor Company®. Our intention is to provide products that can be used on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle.
